Lego Indiana Jones Cake - Completion!

Well, my Lego Indiana Jones cake is complete and I had a chance to try out my new airbrush for the first time. I love the airbrush and hope to get better at it as I have more time to practice. The lego blocks were made with rice krispie treats covered in frosting and then fondant. Fondant Indiana Jones - One Step Closer

Well, I am one step closer and my little boy is soooo excited! I have now assembled Indy and added his face and other small details. I will be making the cake tomorrow and will be sure to post pictures of the final creation. Making your own homemade birthday cakes really can be such fun and is so rewarding. Indiana Jones Is Underway

Well, I have started work on the Indiana Jones Lego cake. Above is a picture of my Indiana Jones fondant figure as he stands today. I still need to add his face and attach his hat. I think he looks decent and my son just loves him. I will spend some more time this week making some trees, snakes and lego blocks and then I'll make the actual cake and put it all together on Friday. We bought our Indiana Jones party supplies and sent out the invites a week ago. Excitement is building :)
