It's hard to believe that Easter is only 2 weeks away. If you're planning an Easter party or family gathering and are looking for fun food ideas then look no further :) My Etsy store currently has really cute Easter egg and Easter bunny fondant toppers that can be used to decorate large cakes, cupcakes or even cookies.
Here are some fun ways to use these toppers:
- Bake a round or square cake and cover it in fondant or buttercream in a soft pastel color. The take some of my toppers and attach them to the sides of the cake. It would be fun to alternate the eggs and bunnies. Then use the top of the cake to write your Happy Easter message.
- Bake some cupcakes (strawberry or lemon would be fun since they have a neat pastel color). Then use some green frosting and a grass icing tip (Wilton #233
) to pipe a mini lawn on the top of each cupcake. Then add the fondant toppers as the final decoration.
- Bake some sugar cookies and then frost them with a royal or decorator icing. Add the fondant toppers and let dry.
